The Stone Forest in Shilin near the city of Shilin is a collection of gray limestone pillars that creates a breathtaking and challenging maze of stone that rises from the earth to highs of about 100 feet high. Once immersed within, one realizes why there are so many guides. Finding your way out is not that easy.
