A Beam for a Bride - Antelope Canyon , USA

Antelope Canyon was one of the highlights of our trip. Its narrow crowded slot canyons present a windy narrow passageway through massive stone walls. Sand pouring in from above and flash floods change the look of the canyon in a never-ending cycle. All visitors to the canyon are required to go on a guided tour. You have a choice of a regular tour and a photographer’s tour. We obviously took the latter and were very fortunate to have a guide that knew just when the right light would shine. Miss the light in Antelope Canyon by ten minutes and it was the difference between fantastically brilliant red walls and a gray flat canyon. Think we timed it right?
