Fenetre d’ Arpette

The start of the Haute Route traversed some of the same territory as the Tour de Mont Blanc. However, this time I opted to hike the Fenetre de Arpette. Sadly, while the glacier still looks ominous, it has retreated considerably over the past few decades.
